This time of the year always brings back such warm memories. It’s a time when everything feels bountiful.

I love the turkey…dark meat is my favorite with green bean casserole and too much gravy and dressing… but I have a confession to make… I love the cranberry sauce straight out of the can! 

I have always loaded up my plate Scooby style… eat till I couldn’t move and then topped it off with a piece of my Mom’s amazing pecan pie baked from scratch… absolutely scrumptious…

It’s my favorite time of the year with Christmas on the horizon… a spirit of joy and hope filling the air, everyone is a little nicer… even the grumpy neighbor manages a smile… but what changes our lives and deepens our spirit of the holiday is giving…

My Mother always said the heart of giving is blessing someone that is less fortunate or experiencing a difficult time whether it is a stranger or a close friend. 

I hope you will find a way to share a simple kindness with a stranger, express your love to family or bless someone’s life in your daily path…
